I like to take photos of things. Mostly peoples. Mostly pretty peoples, if I'm honest. But sometimes toys, or dogs, or maybe a tree. Y'know, interesting stuff.
I shoot a few burlesque shows, but that's just to kill time between photoshoots with models, where I can control the light and the pose and the magic.
My photos will have the tag "my photo". Otherwise, it's stolen from the vast wilderness that is the internet. I usually source pics from Model Mayhem, Flickr or We <3 it.

The other day i bought Mastering Manga with Mark Crilley. This was the first thing i’ve drawn in years… and while it’s not good, its at least recognisable as a face, so thats a big step up from any of my previous attempts at art.
For £4, the book is ace. I imagine that people with actual skillz would get a lot more out of it that I, but that’s true for a lot of things that I turn my hand to.

Ever since I first saw IdolM@ster, I knew I wanted to play it. But, it’s a Japanese only game, and I’ve tried to learn Japanese several times….but with limited success. lol.
I know about 20 words of vocab, but I sure as shit can’t read anything!
So, I had resigned myself to never getting a chance to play it.
BUT! WHAT HO! Some cheeky chappies have started translating the PSP versions! And one of the versions is like 93% done!
It’s motherfucking playable! I’m motherfucking playing it! I even chose Go My Way as my first song! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

One time, our town had an Animation Festival, which had a bunch of shitty local artists and political cartoonists gather in the town hall for a talk. Was a load of wank, BUT! The local cinema decided to play along and had Ghost In The Shell on their biggest screen.
My friend and I were the only people in there save for 2 other people, sitting along, at opposite ends of the cinema. Seeing GITS on the big screen was, as sad as it sounds, one of the high points of my life so far.
As for Bebop.
Back in the day, when we were all on 56k modems, and torrents didn’t exist, and to use the internet meant tying up the phone line so your mum got really pissy with you and kept picking up the phone to disconnect you, I used to download a bunch of anime.
I would literally take me 3 days to get an episode, and one of my friends would come round ever weekend after his shift at KFC and we’d watch the latest 2 episodes. It took us a very long time. Evangelion is 26 episodes, y’know!
The computer I was using at the time, Trixie Firecracker ( shame on you, if you recognise the name. Shame on you! ) was ancient even at that time. She had a pair of Voodoo 2’s in SLI, for God’s sake!
Anyway, the portions of Bebop in space ( which isn’t a lot, but it is some ) would play REALLLLLLYYYY slowly. Like, drop down to 4 frames a second, locking up the whole computer, so I couldn’t even skip them.
No idea why. Needless to say, I never finished Bebop. Got to about episode 12, I think.
Been meaning to pick it up again…mayhaps I’ll download it tonight ( Note to 15 year old me: HA! Eat that! I’ll get the whole fucking series IN A NIGHT! LOL p.s. Get out more, you loser. Go talk to a girl or something! )
