Muscle ache is a common complaint during caffeine withdrawal. Which is quite a stupid thing for me to be doing since my shoulder is already tendon fucked ( I still have my snazzy shoulder strap on…it stays on for 2-3days nonstop ).

Mornings are the worst. Mornings are hard. Getting to the afternoon I appreciate the difference between need and want.

I want coffee or Monster because I like them. Because I like the fuzzy feeling I get. Because I enjoy the taste.

Last week, I would have swore blind that I needed caffeine to function, that without it I wouldn’t even get out of bed and I wont have the strength to work.

All in, I’m not a serious caffeine abuser. I’ll have maybe 2 or 3 cups of coffee a day, and maybe 3 or 4 Monsters A WEEK.

The recommended daily safe limit is about 300mg. They state that problems such as insomnia can occur when you are taking 500-600mg per day.

A Monster is 160mg, and each coffee is about 60mg. Even on a heavy day, where I have 3 cups of coffee and a Monster, I’m still only at 340mg or so.
