But basically, if you remember, our phone line is down. Completely dead.

Last week, an engineer from BT came out to tinker, and it turned out he needed access to a flat on the ground floor, as that’s where the main BT line comes into our block of flats. She wasn’t in when the engineer was out, so we had to reschedule a time when she would be in.

After much grief contacting BT, we managed to get them to agree to come out this Tuesday. We went downstairs to the ask if the lady in the flat would be in on the Tuesday…..and she has now told us that she will refuse access to any BT engineer who tries to enter her property.

While I agree that this BT box shouldn’t be in her house, it is. And that’s the way it is. She has suggested that we will require a court order to have the engineer be allowed to do the 6 minutes of work that will restore our phone line / internet.

TL;DR We are never, ever, ever going to have internet or phone again. Because this lady is a total clunge. The end.
