Sophie has her 1 year immunisation / vaccinations.

She’s already had the shots for diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), polio, haemophilus influenza, meningitis C, and pneumococcal.

She got all that when she was 4 months old. And having some strange lady act all nice to her, and then stab her in the arm, for her to then become feverish and ill for the next week…..Well, Soph didn’t enjoy it.

Tomorrow’s injection is the MMR one, the “gives kids autism” one. ¬_¬

Which I don’t believe for a second. Sure, I expect her personality to change a little, as it did after her last round of jabs, but that’s because at around this time, she’s having a huge developmental growth spurt, as she was at 4 months.

She’d change regardless if she was given the MMR or not, just, this way, she’s protected against MMR.

She’s gonna be an ill baby for about 3 weeks, I imagine. But it’s for the greater good.
