it also marks Katie’s achievement of breast-feeding for a whole year.

Most people give up after 3 months or so. Some mothers don’t even make it 3 days.

But Katie has persevered.  Ups and downs, highs and lows, she nearly quit once or twice. But she didn’t.

Sophie has not once been fed formula. And because she’s a fussy bastard, she wouldn’t even take expressed milk, meaning, every single feed…every single feed….through the day and through the night…has come directly from Katie.

It’s an enormous achievement and I’m super proud of her. And I want to mark how much effort she has put in…a present.

But what? Any ideas, citizens of Tumblr / Mum-blr?
