I like to take photos of things. Mostly peoples. Mostly pretty peoples, if I'm honest. But sometimes toys, or dogs, or maybe a tree. Y'know, interesting stuff.
I shoot a few burlesque shows, but that's just to kill time between photoshoots with models, where I can control the light and the pose and the magic.
My photos will have the tag "my photo". Otherwise, it's stolen from the vast wilderness that is the internet. I usually source pics from Model Mayhem, Flickr or We <3 it.
You wanna look me up elsewhere?
and see the computers / racing chair that we have set up and, obviously, want a shot.
But soooooooooooooo many of them just look at the screen displaying Portal and they try, they genuinely try to play it….
But then they ask shit like “How do I shoot?” ¬_¬
or
“What button makes it go forward?” and they are thrusting the mouse, as though the mouse would control movement.
Like, if schools aren’t teaching these kids WSAD, then what the fuck are they teaching them? Like, I pay my taxes, I pay for the school curriculum and what the fuck is this?
I would pay extra if they classes also taught that inverting the Y axis is wrong and should never, ever, ever be done. Especially not when you’re playing on someone else’s computer.
*( and by ”kids” I mean teens. Like, old enough to know better. )
